Os indicados aos BRIT Awards de 2024 foram revelados nesta quarta-feira. A lista é bastante ampla, são mais de 60 nomes concorrendo em 13 categorias, e que abraça artistas de diversos gêneros e níveis de popularidade. Dua Lipa, Blur, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran e também Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift e o Paramore, estes na área dedicada aos artistas internacionais, estão concorrendo. Quem realmente surpreendeu foi Raye. A cantora está concorrendo em sete categorias, o que faz dela a maior indicada em uma só noite do prêmio – esta será a 47ª edição. Aos 26 anos, a artista ultrapassou os Gorillaz, Robbie Williams e Craig David – que tinham seis indicações cada. Raye em breve virá ao Brasil para se apresentar no C6Fest no dia 18 de maio. Outras duas atrações do festival, Romy e os Young Fathers também terão chances de ganhar o “Grammy da Grã Bretanha”. Os troféus serão entregues no dia 2 de março.
